Ring Ouzel

Another not-to-great blip, but it is a photo of a ring ouzel!!!!

Had a very pleasant walk up Glen Tilt with niece Sarah, to the spot where she had seen these elusive (and declining population) birds. We did indeed find them again, and they were happy enough, with us being on the other bank of the river, to let us get quite close.

A treat and a privilege. :)

By the time we got home at 2:30, other niece Helen had managed to drag herself out of bed, and onto facebook ;)
