I was supposed to be going for "a glass of wine and some nibbles" to thank us (the volunteer librarians) for our work, but the demands of the Cubs' Sausage Sizzle on the beach prevented it.

But who could mind when you're out on a beautiful evening with this as your backdrop? These are the remains of Dunbar Castle.
