I had never noticed that faded sign before, until this morning. Or ever pondered the broken canopy. I wonder what was here before. I am going to research it.

And I hadn't noticed the door was bricked up, until I uploaded this. And then I realised that it's the reflection of the stonework from accross the road. "Oh MAiT" I said to myself wryly, "you are a silly billy"

I had been worrying a bit about tonight. It was time for the thrice yearly double-dip dilemma. However, praise the lord* no one brought any dipping snacks. Phew.

Oh, if only I were rich. I could get all my knick-knacks gold plated (is it me, or has the world now gone stark staring totally bonkers?)
