Lesser Spotted Woodpecker

I found this nest yesterday. The chicks are not very quiet. Most common woodpecker in Finland is Great Spotted Woodpecker (käpytikka) which is more than 20 times more common than Lesser Spotted Woodpecker (pikkutikka). The sunlight in this picture is very hard but because I was working without an assistant I wasn't able to place any diffuser in front of the sun ;-)
