Pet Portrait

I was out tonight but fortunately I had an hour in which I could play with one of new photographic toys. As well as having a canon eos 50d digital camera . I was also gifted a canon fd film camera and I sometimes like to use the film camera lens on my 50d so yesterday a fd/eos converter arrived so I could use my 70-210 fd lens along with a x2 convertor so that I can zoom in even closer. Mica our cat was surprisinglt settled and would sit and lay for ages with out running up to me so I took quite a few of her and several arty poppy ones. Craig loved this one of Mica she was looking up listening to the birds calling out. Will upload the poppy ones to my flickr account in a day or two. I'll post the link when it's done. Now to beddy byes as I have a long day at the Lincolnshire show photographing classic cars, steam engines, show jumping, stunt men you name it I'm going to photography, for now good night

Bear in mind with a film lens on a digital camera you only have manual focus so it does take some getting used to it.
