Backyard Camping

Josie and Grant had been asking to sleep in the tent in the backyard so. . .tonight was the night. After Doug got home and Father's Day festivities had wound down, every blanket in the house was hauled out to the tent as well as a giant conglomeration of stuffed animals. Emily and Gracie enjoyed lounging in the tent for awhile, but chose the comforts of their own bed for sleeping--after all, morning swim practice comes early for them. It seemed a bit on the cool side that night, but they said they were perfectly warm. Next time we'll have to do S'mores!
