I don't often see pigeons chilling out like this. I know there's an old wives' tale about cows lying down when there's rain due, but didn't think it applied to pigeons too! We're due a thunderstorm here, have been for two days now, and with the mugginess I just feel like plonking myself on the ground too.

I only had my 60mm lens with me today, so I had to get right in this girl's face and still she didn't flinch. In fact, I'm pretty sure she was posing for me :)
