Marvellous marbles...

Spent a lovely morning pottering around....watched a bit of TV, catching up with friends on email, enjoying some buttery toast and starting to scout for my Thursday blip!

It's such a beautiful sunny morning again, I thought whatever my picture, it needs to incorporate sunshine. I grabbed a handful of marbles from the kitchen window sill and scattered them on a sunny patch in the garden. I wanted to capture the light bouncing off the glass and reflecting on the rough patio surface - you can almost see the marbles absorbing the light and then allowing it to pass through.

Right i'm off to absorb some sunshine just like my marble friends!
