This is Melbourne from Essendon West, approximately 10 kilometres out.
Looking across the Maribyrnong River, the second of Melbourne's two main rivers.
The Maribyrnong River, which begins on the slopes of Mount Macedon and flows 50 klms to the Yarra River, at the docks, just before it enters into Port Phillip Bay.
