Rita

My partners mum passed away just over an hour ago.
He has been with her and its heart breaking hearing him on the phone.
I have seen my partner cry and heard him cry before, but not like this. I feel so hopeless at this distance. Its hard hearing your partner in such pain on the phone. But they are all together- I mean he and his family and that is what counts.

Rita turned 80 in May.

I'm so sorry and sad, I wonder how his dad will be now that she has gone. They'd been together many many years. They have four children and lots of grandchildren.
Last week he kissed her and told her he loved her, she replied he was the light of her life. What do you do when your partner dies? Its heartbreaking.
I know she had had a good life with family and her friends.
Her family have been with her looking after her and they are all there now.
Its just horribly sad.

I'm sorry its not a cheery blip, I just wanted to mention it.
