Now here's a novel idea. In these times of economic austerity, why not have cardboard cut-out buildings?

Looks rather fetching, don't you think? Not sure how it would cope in a fire, though.

In actual fact, this is an hoarding around the listed George and Railway pub in Bristol city centre that has been derelict for years and which presumably they are planning to renovate.

Good to see someone has put some effort into making a run-down area look more appealing while the bureaucrats sort out planning and financial issues. Could do with more of that.
