The Red Shoes

Well, what else to call it...
Went to a local children's book group evening and Evie was enthralled listening to the author Kaye Umansky. Author of children's books that most parents have heard of (The Pongwiffy books amongst many!) She gave a wonderful talk, signed books and chatted attentively to all the children. Brilliant. Evie very late to bed now and tired.
She was fabulous with the children and not in the LEAST bit phased by my asking her to step outside for a moment so I could photograph her very cool shoes.
