Patience lies in the eyes...

Our cat has been intently studying our guinea pig for about 2 years now. I often see her propped up on my desk, peering down into the guinea pig cage. Some people might be alarmed by the possibility of our dear Kitters laying waste to my Ratbutt, but I've known this cat for a long time now, and every time I've seen her catch something she's been watching, she pounces it once and then has no idea what to do with it. I often wonder what she's thinking behind those eyes... they turned out looking so dark and mysterious when I shot this quick photo of one of her intense watching sessions - in real life they are a beautiful and bright amber color. Knowing that fact, this pic feels quite sinister to me. ;) hehe
