Tern Island

Today we visited Tern Island which is part of French Frigate Shoals. It was incredible and i don't think i can describe the experience in words. There where birds almost everywhere; black-footed albatrosses, laysan albatrosses, red-footed boobies, masked boobies and the list goes on and on..
These are masked boobies and we also saw several munkseals and a bunch of huge green seaturtles (the biggest i have ever seen, our guide told us that they weighed around 500 pounds!!)
