In Tandem

Another trip to Amwell Nature Reserve, a former gravel pit in the Lee Valley managed by Herts and Middlesex wildlife trust, but this time as well as a bit of birdwatching we explored the dragonfly trail which we didn't have time to do on Wednesday as we rushed back to watch the football.

Thoroughly enjoyed the trail with great views of Emperor Dragonfly Anax imperator, Beautiful Demoiselle Calopteryx virgo & Common Blue Damselfly Enallagma cyathigerum - pictured above. Even had time for a wee snooze beside the lake in the sunshine.
