Car free day was mostly spent in Tim's basement building my new bike.

It's been ten years since I bought my current mountainbike - it's had a number of upgrades - it's on it's fourth set of new shocks and had the geometry changed with riser bars, angled stem and 4 inches of travel instead of the 1.5 it started with. It's a beautiful bike too, the perfect fit for me.

Which is why at the same time we build this new rig my old Battle Truck is getting converted into a one speed.

Still haven't got a good name for the new bike. It's very black and shiny, but I won't be calling it Black Beauty.

A little more work on Sunday and it'll be ready to ride - I just hope the rain stops...
