Anette's day

Today is the 2 year anniversary of Anette's passing. I should have been out picking flowers and enjoying the day, but instead I have been physically pooped from the big party yesterday. Noah has slept all afternoon and Leo and I have just hung-out. Viggo is not back home yet.

Leo asked me to take a picture of this chili for him, as he says his nickname on Facebook is Leo "Chili" Platt. Not sure if he made it up himself, but I was happy to oblige. It wasn't very easy to get a decent picture as the chili did not lend itself to the black pen and Leo was holding the chili to position it with the face up.

Anyway it is all I have shot today so it's today's blip .. having said that we are all going out for a long walk now so maybe something else will come up.

I guess as I write this I actually realize that everything I have done today has made me think of Anette, even if I haven't said much out loud. I actually feel very down indeed. I guess by doing nothing today I hid the feeling from myself, but now that I have started opening up the feelings are flowing.

I decided to go out and shoot some images which Anette would have liked, and I'll be back to post them later.

As midnight approaches I will post two shots I took for Anette: The first of some newly wrapped bales of straw which she always commented on when we drove past them -- and which I snapped as I drove past them -- and the second of our friends' island (Holmen) where we spent so many happy times.
