Like a lot of people, we left home early and headed for the nearest seaside. Hot hot hot: in the eighties I should think.

But even so the water was too cold for me to venture in up to my knees -- wimp...

Wife dived in and made me look ridiculous stood in the kiddie waves like a male jelly.

This is just a random shot of the beach at Bournemouth; you can see the tethered balloon in the distance. Pay a fiver -- up she goes -- then comes back down. My fiver`s still in me pocket.
