Saturday evening

On such a lovely hot evening, with our daughter at her friends for a few hours, this seemed like the perfect opportunity to go for a walk.

The wild flower (above) was the first image (of 60) I took this evening. Hopefully, a fellow blipper may be able to tell me what it is.

We walked for two hours around the local countryside, we both have the nettle stings to prove it. We came across walks we didn't know existed, a pond with yellow water lilies and yellow irises (I think), dodged huge raindrops and fought our way through a swarm of greenflies.

It definitely beats watching Saturday night TV!
