Portrait of a statue

A beautiful clear-blue-sky day today - just right to do a small mountain of laundry!

I drive past the place where this chap lives regularly although rarely ever stop. Today, I did stop and, despite the place actally being closed, I still managed to talk my way in to being able to wander around the place. There are some beautiful statues here - although rather too ostentatious for my wee cottage - but great fun with camera in hand!
