Rose revisited

Yesterday I took lots of shots of pristine blooms - but then last night we had what turned out to be a very localised storm.

I surveyed all my flowers this morning and some had lost petals and inevitably the Peonies were all hanging their heads. But this rose ( which I took last week), apart from being a little more ragged around the edges, still looks beautiful.

It has deepened in colour and glistens with the rain drops from the night before.
