Three of my Polish colleagues here - out for leaving drinks for Chris
(not in the pic), who is returning to the UK after being in Poland for
7yrs. He managed to bag a second posting here and spent the last
five or six months as my line manager. He takes with him a wealth of
experience and knowledge about how we operate here in Warsaw, which is
going to be pretty impossible to replace. We gave him a personalised
Poland football shirt, a mug to take to his new job, with a group
photo on it (I bet he doesn't use it!) and a photo-book with a
collection of images from the last year. It won't be the same
without him, so a sad day in our office.
