Clocks

I don't know if children still call these seed-heads "Dandelion clocks" but that's what they were when I was a child. I wasn't going to do a flower blip today but I couldn't resist this one - especially as time has run out for the England football team in South Africa. This beauty is in a sheltered area behind some bushes which is why the recent breezes haven't taken the seeds. The complete seed-head from another angle can be seen here.
