Ashdown Forest
Hello.
For the first time ever, this is not Flick writing this. It's me, her ever loving husband.
I think I should explain -
we went to visit Flick's mother-in-law today, down in Sussex. We were supposed to get there about 12 ish, but as we left the house, late, Flick bent down to pick up her camera and managed to put her back out! It's something that she has done before - the muscle goes into a sort of spasm (a bit like cramp) and hurts like hell, and last tme this happened, it took a number of weeks before it returned to normal.
But what a trooper she was. She took an asprin and would not entertain any idea of aborting the mission. She knows that the only way to cope with this is to actually keep moving and she knew that the journey is three hours each way of sitting still, but she insisted we go.
This is above and beyond the call of duty.
On the way home, we stopped at Ashdown Forest and she took this; hand-held with a flash.
Bloody good effort I thought. She didn't have a tripod (I was using it ), and she gamely walked up and down a hill in the dark to get it.
Today (Sunday) she's lost the will to live. She can't sit down for too long without pain (bad for blipping), and so far she hasn't got a blip for today.
That useless wazzok of a husband of hers is not much help either. Still, he's off to boil some eggs for her tea. (Don't ask what ever became of lunch)
Hopefully, she'll add some words to this if she's ever able to sit down long enough.

EDIT I have decided to add some words ... there just did.
