and the winner is...

After visiting the Royal Highland Show with Dad last year, one of his and Mum's annual callender dates, we were delighted when he produced the tickets for this year's show. C brought a friend, kids go free so that was good, and they disappeared off, briefly reappearing to fuel at lunchtime. We spent an hour or so enjoying the heavy horses in the main arena and this was the overall winner. They're just amazing to watch although when one set bolted, and did a slightly worrying circuit of the ring, SD reminded me of his belief that "you should never sit on something with a mind of it's own". Brilliant day for us all :D
