Walton on the Naze

Spent the morning and lunch at Walton on the Naze.

Spent a few hours on the beach and then went for a walk to the end of the pier and back and then a little time on the rides on the pier. We left at 2 so we could get home in time for the football.

A sad thing happened on the way home.

A duck and her little ducklings crossed the road in-front of our car and I managed to slow right down and let them cross. In the traffic coming towards us a driver of a Fiesta stamped on his brakes trying to avoid the little ducks and skidded into a Hedge. Unfortunately he also hit some of the ducks in the process.

A rubbish day for football and ducks!
