"Thar She Blows"
Saturday, when out on an 18 hours pelagic trip sponsored by the Brookline Bird Club, out to the continental shelf. Usually these trips pick up at least one or two rare birds. Not today, we had all the usual birds, but wev did encounter a sea turtle, dolphins, grampus, sharks, tuna and a sperm whale. the picture I am posting is either a Sei Whale or possibly a Blue whale. as of today we do not know.
The whale would come out of the water, blow and hit the water with its head and upper abdomen, dive and repeat the action again
