Too good to miss......

We really had loads of things that needed doing but the morning looked soooo good that it was out after breakfast (tea and toast) and off to Thaxted for coffee and sticky cake.
Murderous head wind on the way out but really flew on the way back.
Stopped at a high point near Hempstead - could be in the middle of nowhere - it's what we love about living round here. The landscape is a bit brown at the moment, but will green up soon as the winter-wheat sprouts. Still a lovely sky and warm!
