The Dragon fly lives to fly another day

This lovely thing was seconds from death when I saw it had gone too far into the water its wings were wet and bent and the fish (About 11" long) with a mouth like the mersey tunnel was trying to snatch it from the surface, so I put the lilly pad under it and pushed it out of harms way.
It hung around on the lilly pad for nearly 2 hours
Flapping its wings and shuddering all over, it was really strange to watch.

But eventually it flew off and didnt even thank me!
