E is for Email

...and not Emu, Elderly, Elvis, Elmo or Elephant, which were suggested by a regular viewer of this journal, as I couldn't find any today!

Back to work after a week off, and I expected to come in to the usual mountain of emails.  I was plesantly surprised to find only 76 emails, and after I got rid of all the 'Tom is not coming in', 'Dick is finishing early', and 'Harry has lost his mug' emails, I got it down to about 30.  It seems to have been a quiet week while I've been away!

The only downside about being back is missing the afternoon games of football.  Well, not quite the only downside, but one of them.

An old piece of research somehow made its way onto the BBC's 'Most Read' stories today.  It suggested that the optimum seating position is not sitting up straight at 90 degrees, but lying back at 135 degrees.  I think if I adopted that position, I'd have my feet up and the football on in no time!
