Penstemon harringtonii

Harrington's penstemon is endemic to Routt, Eagle and Pitkin counties of Colorado. Most of it's habitat is in the urban corridor of the Vail Valley known more for its world class sking. DBG monitors two populations once a year. The Reseach Department has been collecting data for 15 years. Last Tuesday I took the Horticulture interns to help count Penstemon.
