Breathe in. Breathe out.

Another one-shot-only kind of day. This is my father-in-law's lavender that defies all odds and grows in a bank along a heavily wooded area. His lavender is fuller and prettier than mine which is growing in full sun. Go figure. Mine smells better, though :)

Hot and oppressively humid today. We were expecting a thunderstorm that never materialized. I was looking forward to the break from the heat, and the garden could use the rain.
