Colour in gloom

Well the promised weather shift has occurred. Between the school visit this morning (see previous blip, it went well), an impending Tesco delivery this afternoon, and roleplaying group this evening (I live on the edge), I decided to get my blip out of the way with a cheap shot of our front garden magnolia tree. Yeah it's a magnolia tree, literally - not a bush. People often seem to be surprised by the size of it!

Usefully the new leaves come in a nice shade of red, so I used that against the green to try and produce something vaguely interesting.
