'Alexanda'

No not a miss-spelling this is the Alexanda Rose which is the main feature of our front garden in the summer.

It was difficult for me to photograph as it stands above head height (well I am only 5ft but it is probably above most peoples head height) and blooms from now until the first frosts.

It was bought for my son Alexander by my mother in law when we moved into this house in 1983, he was just a toddler then and is 29 in August so it is pretty good value and always blooms well.
