Pleated

I helped my mother, a textile designer, take some photographs of her scarves today.

This is a hand-pleated scarf made with silk-metallic cloth (hand woven in silk & real silver thread).

My mother took up textile design after my sister and I left home for university; she did an art foundation course and then studied textiles at university.

I'm very proud of her achievements; she sells her work in this country and the USA, Netherlands, Italy and Japan.
