Mountain flowers

The forecast for the week looks pretty grim and today is the only bright spot, so we headed out to 3 Castle Head - right on the tip if the Mizen Peninsula. The views are totally sublime and I took a million photos, fully intending to show the stunning view but this was the shot that did it! Wherever you went was just awash with wonderful wild flowers - this combination of bog pimpernel. wild thyme and Bird's foot trefoil (yes I looked them up!) was magnificent. The view will have to wait for another time.
