Nasturtiums at last!

Last year my friend Liz and I tried in vain to grow nasturtiums - we both love them and have grown them many times before - but try as we might nothing grew in either of our gardens.

I was determined to have an abundant display this year and sowed rather a lot of seed. You can never too many nasturtiums, but I think I have gone rather mad.

The butterflies have already laid their eggs on the leaves, so the daily hunt for caterpillars has begun ...
