Beach World Cup

One of the many highlights of our long weekend was our visits to the beach bars that dot the 4 mile stretch of sand that makes up Barcelona's beaches.

Each section of beach has it's own character as do the constituent bars They all serve food and are open well into the night too ;) many of them have DJ's that play some nice chilled tunes.

This is probably our favourite: Princesa 23 which has a sister bar in the El Born district. it is famous for it's mojito's and also for showing the matches on it's big screen!

It was a great atmosphere here for Spain v Chile,as ever, very friendly with not a hint of any hassle whatsoever.
