Gotta love a bit of Billy Joel.

As mentioned yesterday, my folks are staying with us at the mo. Mum and I went shopping today (Dad was on the golf course, trying to avoid ponies, Son One at school, and Son Two and The Husband at home doing Useful Stuff). Can't remember the last time it was just me and my Mum wandering round the shops together.

Lovely lady that she is bought me some exceedingly comfortable Dr Marten sandals as my birthday present :-) We also got some 3 for 2 bargains in M&S for Son One's September uniform. And then we stopped for lunch, sat under the Poultry Cross.

Which is where we encountered this chap.

We suddenly became aware of someone playing Beatles tunes. I looked round, and glimpsed a very pink boombox thingy. Looked the other way and saw him. Very, errm, expressive.
