All-Stars

Synopsis of the Day:



* Began the morning at 9:30 am for Opening Day Ceremonies at Western Little League fields with Loren's All-Stars team. It is his first year being in the All-Stars (he qualified last year but we were on vacation!)

* After Opening Day we went to Landon's Swim Lessons @ 11:30.

* After Swim Lessons we headed back to the baseball field for the All-Stars game @ 2 pm (warm-ups on this hot day at 1 pm)

* After the All-Stars game we headed to the Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser/Silent Auction for Calvin Crest at the church. Loren and his friends helped serve the meals in their white 'servers' shirts :D This is how I found out the trick at a silent auction. Have your 4-year-old sign their name on the silent auction sheet with their bid amount and then people feel guilty outbidding them.

This blip photo was taken at the All-Stars game. Loren got to pitch in the game today. Although he did a great job pitching, our team didn't win against Hoover Tyler Little League. We really struggled and got 'ten-run' ruled during our game. We struggled because our 11 & 12 year old team only had so many kids to choose from since we only had one Majors team left by the end of the season. We told the kids just to enjoy the experience and that is all that matters!
