this lovely life

So yeah. Me and RW were both let go on the same day last October. We have both found our way back to the races, somehow. At least for now. He, occasionally, gets to wear the blue shirt. I, on the other hand, have not had that privilege since the now-defunct Richmond event last fall. Right about now I'm wondering if I will ever wear the blue shirt again. I don't like wondering. I don't like it at all.

HOWEVER, I am most appreciative of the kind souls who have helped me maintain ties to the field which I so love. Rob G, I owe you a tremendous gratitude for holding out a hand and making me feel worthy and needed and talented when I felt like gutter trash. And Rick G, you absolutely are my hero. You told me you would make me a star, and I thought you were kidding. Silly me! It is a huge privilege to be associated with you, and to be associated with a forum so respected. Honored, I am.

Blue shirt or not, I am quite happy when I am in my element. And my element is the racetrack, of this I am certain.
