Mowing the Lawn

I was driving through some farms in Saanich this afternoon dodging rain drops and looking for some interesting captures. I saw an unusually coloured bird - I think some form of chicken - but it kept running away when I pointed the camera at it! lol Later in the afternoon I ran across an overgrown field filled with sheep who were contentedly munching away. And, they didn't run away when I pointed the camera at them! Okay, a few who were near the fence moved away, but the rest contentedly munched away, looking up occasionally to see if I was doing anything interesting.

This sheep seemed most interested in what I was doing .. he would grab a mouthful of grass and munch away as he watched me walk along the fence.

Reminds me that I should go home and mow my own lawn .. do you think the farmer would mind if I borrowed a few sheep..?
