Baby Gull

Water levels in Loch Thom are so low at the moment that we were able to walk over to the island. Loch Thom Island is an important breeding area for ground nesting birds like Oystercatchers, Ringed Plovers, Common Sandpipers, Geese, and especially Gulls. This little Herring Gull hoped that I couldn't see him, and I hoped that his angry mother wouldn't dive bomb me while i took this photo.
