Pull!

I've always liked this statue.
I reckon it's a circus roustabout hauling up the ropes for the big top.

It's in one of the lesser trodden areas of our town centre for years, sitting out randomly in the middle of a large expanse of pavement.

It kind of fitted in on the sporadic occasions they had some children's fairground rides in that area. But then they built a Frankie and Benny's right beside it.

So it looks like he's pulling up the pipes from under the restaurant.
