Journey to Brighton!

This journey usually takes 35 - 40 mins. Today, it took 2 HOURS!! First, my daughter had left absolutely no petrol in the car AND no screen wash water either and she had obviously tried to wash off some bird muck but as there had been no water it had left a smear which took up most of the screen!! So, journey started not very well before I had even pulled out of the garage. Then i sat in a queue of traffic for ages expecting to see a very bad accident as police cars and ambulances had gone past at speed. I sat and thought well at least I wasn't involved in the accident. When I eventually reached the particular roundabout one lane on the approach was coned off and 4 motorway maintenance men were sweeping the road. I hope no-one had been hurt but I'm not sure there had even been an accident.

As you can see in the picture it looks as though everyone except one car is on their way in to brighton!

I was looking forward to a day of shopping and lunch with my friend who I hadn't seen for ages. The shopping was cut rather short but I had a very enjoyable lunch and caught up with the latest gossip with my lovely friend. - thank you.
