A taste of Grasse

This image reminded me of the pefumery region in France.... where they grow the lavender... I am sure that it is not really like this but as i havnt been in several years my memory is hazy .. but that is how it makes me feel/.

Today i visited the cemetary.. it is a year since my good friend died and there is a memorial service for her on sunday.
The stone was completed yesterday and so we wantd to make sure there were fresh flowers in the vases...
I often go and spend time here... it is very restful and i can sit under the tree and think... today i bought red and white carnations and roses with lots of greeen foliage... they looked beautiful.....
