Squatting!

... There was a problem today with our buyer's Bank releasing their funds so they are now in breach of contract, as are we with our purchase of our new property. Fortunately the guy who sold to us is a top bloke and he allowed us to move our stuff in even though we haven't paid him for his flat yet. What a star! I hope he's enjoying the expensive wine and chocs I got him and feels lucky I didn't suffocate him in a bear hug which my first instinct when I saw him today.

A stressful and very long day but we're here now and hopefully the monies will all transfer ok tomorrow and the place will truly be ours.

Pickfords, by the way, were excellent today, even though they worked from 9am till 7:30 and had to move everything from one 3rd floor tenement flat to another. Poor guys. They packed for us too which was great, and it means opening the boxes this end is a little bit like Xmas : )

Anyway, squatting in this new place is very pleasant but now its time for bed - am knackered!
