Things the lens picks up the naked eye doesn't!

First off i have to mention i have a big fear of spiders and never would have taken this picture if i had noticed a spider near these blackberry flowers! lol

But it wasn't until i uploaded the pictures to my laptop i noticed this white spider with a red back (sorry don't know what kind it is and google wasn't really throwing up much light other than in the usa blabla) I was just trying to get a clear image using the normal macro lense.

The picture before this you can just see it under the seeds of the flower..
