Rescued!!!

"Miss F, Miss F, come and see what we've found!"

This could mean that the nursery/reception children at their Forest School session have discovered anything from a toad to a twig!

Imagine the surprise of us all when the children were to be found tenderly stroking a baby owl!

It had fallen from a nearby nest and was looking a bit sorry for itself, so our wonderful caretaker who is Like St Francis himself, promptly collected it and contacted the local RSPCA inspector who has taken it to their vet surgery. He seems confident that the baby owl will make a complete recovery and he has promised to let us know what happens to it :0)

Was lucky I had taken my new camera to work with me today :0)
