The Demon Doodles

Since we replaced my sons much loved and worn out 'Ben Ten' trainers, it has been a real battle to get him to wear his doodle boat shoes, which incidently he chose himself.
This afternoon in the park he tried to hide them but luckily I spotted them amongst the sand and willow. His faced dropped as I casually wandered over to him with them.
I don't have much care for fashion sense, how on earth did I breed such a choosey child? And he's only THREE!!!
